About us
Bodyworx Physio was established in 2006 when our Selby clinic was opened. A second clinic was then introduced in Goole in March 2008 and in 2010 we opened our York branch. Since establishment, we have built good links within the community working with GPs, Consultants, Podiatrists and other Healthcare Practitioners. We have also work within private industry, providing treatment for their employees.
At Bodyworx Physio we have extensive experience working with sports clubs including Rugby, Cricket and Football. If you are involved with a sports club or organisation and would like to discuss receiving your physiotherapy from Bodyworx Physio at a discounted rate, please feel free to contact us.
We accept self-referrals as well as those from GP’s and Consultants. Bodyworx Physio is registered with all major insurance companies including BUPA, Nuffield and AXA Health.

Lindsay Cairns
Lindsay (MSc, BSc, MCSP, HCPC) trained in Leeds and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1997. She has attended a variety of post-graduate courses including Acupuncture and Pilates and has completed her Masters (MSc) in Rehabilitation at the University of Bradford in 2012. Lindsay has worked in the NHS since qualifying and has also worked in Private Practice since 2003. She is a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal with a particular interest in shoulders and spinal problems. As well as clinic work, Lindsay teaches Pilates classes throughout Yorkshire. In her spare time Lindsay is a keen runner, challenging herself with half-Marathons.
